Fareeda Ehtesham

Private Sector Members Council (PSMC)

Fareeda is the Program Officer for the Private Sector Members Council to the Roll Back Malaria Partnership. In this role, she works with companies within the PSMC to ensure that the private sector is effectively represented and engaged with, at the RBM Partnership and in the new iteration of the Malaria Partnership. Fareeda facilitates intra-group coordination, organizes targeted convenings, and oversees the production of publications and other relevant communications.

Prior to her role at GBCHealth, Fareeda worked in the UNDP’s Private Sector Division on the Inclusive Markets Development project, helping to build sustainable value chains for private sector development and also contributing to the report  the MDGs: Everyone’s Business.

Fareeda has been educated in Saudi Arabia, India and the United States. She holds a Master’s of Arts in International Relations from the City College of New York-CUNY and a Bachelor’s in Commerce (Honours) from Osmania University in India. She is an avid traveler, having been to 17 counties, and speaks Hindi, Urdu and some Arabic.
