Malva Rabinowitz is the Managing Member of Malva E. Rabinowitz LLC providing consulting, executive coaching and expert testimony services. She is a recently retired senior partner (principal) of Deloitte Consulting LLP with almost 40 years of leadership and consulting experience including board and management roles as well as board service and client service. She is a strategic, pragmatic, results-oriented leader with extensive experience in complex, challenging situations that require tough decisions and a balanced perspective. She has deep experience in working with organizations in transition, business planning and executive coaching.
Rabinowitz’s leadership roles within Deloitte Consulting LLP include Associate Managing Director of Deloitte Consulting Group SC (Deloitte’s Mexico Consulting Practice), Senior Contracting Principal, Lead Client Service Partner/Lead Consulting Principal, Associate Managing Director of the Americas Region, Managing Director of New York Consulting and National Managing Director of Reorganization Services.
Her areas of focus include integration of business units (acquisitions), reorganization (troubled and pre-distressed company) services, globalization, services to Not-for-Profit organizations, contract negotiations, strategic business transformation and a full range of talent (people) matters. She has testified and served as an expert witness in reorganization litigation.
Rabinowitz currently serves and holds leadership positions on the Boards of Global Business Coalition on Health (formerly Global Business Coalition on HIV/Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria), the American Heart Association and the Advisory Board of Mt Sinai Adolescent Health Center. She has also served and held leadership positions on the Supervisory Board of DCG SC, the Boards of Deloitte & Touche USA, Deloitte Consulting Holdings USA, and Xavier University. She consults for and provides executive coaching for UJA-Federation.
Rabinowitz holds a Masters of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering and a concurrent Bachelor of Science in Anthropology & Sociology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is married and has three adult children.
Rabinowitz has served on the Board since before January 2011.
